Q. Tell us a little bit about yourself please
A. I am 48 years old and live in the west of Scotland with my husband, dog and hamster! I love scary films and anything to do with the supernatural and I even live in a haunted house! I like listening to music and depending on my mood; I can listen to anything from Mozart to motorhead lol! I collect fairies and the collection has now moved outside as I have started to create a small fairy garden. I am a soap and reality TV addict lol, but that comes in handy as i have lots in common with most of my roomies! I have a phobia of frogs and maggots!
Q. What made you become a cm?
A. I must say that I was really tempted by the idea of working from home! I love the game of bingo and the thought of getting paid to chat to people about the game as well as share the joy of winning with them sounded almost too good to be true..but here I am! I am so lucky!!
Q. What is your favourite thing about being a chat moderator?
A. It’s got to be chatting to the customers! I love getting to know them all a little better each time I chat to them and when they get a win, I am able to be part of the celebration...What a great feeling!
Q. What is your least favourite thing about being a chat moderator?
A. I get frustrated when a customer is desperate for a win and it just doesn’t happen..I just want everyone to be happy!
Q. How do you find the whole online bingo experience?
A. I think its a great idea, especially for our older customers who had given up going to land bingo as they were no longer able to get out and about. It gives our customers the option to play their favourite game from the comfort of their own homes and they can chat to people from all over the country.
Q. What is your favourite room to work in and why?
A. Castle Banquet. There’s always a good crowd of people in there and the atmosphere is very friendly and cheery.
Q. Can you remember a lol moment in a chat room?
A. One customer asked if the CMs could see him and, as a joke, I said yes. His reply was “oh my god, I had better put my clothes back on then!”....I hope he was joking, but he did sound deadly serious lol. The whole room fell about laughing haha.
Q. Why do you think people should join the site that you work with?
A. because gala bingo is the best of course lol! We are always having exciting promotions going on and the jackpot games at gala bingo are well worth a try. We also have a gala TV studio room with live callers and presenters and a newbies club to welcome all the newcomers to our site...what more could you ask for?
