Following Bingo Rules

Just like everything in the world where you must follow set rules and guidelines so you have to do the same when playing online bingo. Do not get put off by this however, as these rules are not that hard to get your head around and some are just common sense really.

Reading The TOS

This rule is for the hardcore bingo player really but when you sign up to a new bingo site you will come across a page with the terms of service about the site. You should think about printing these rules of so you can always have them at hand in case you are contacted by a member of staff for something that you maybe accused off. If you do not want to print them off then a once read through of them is a must.

The following will be stated in the TOS of most online bingo sites but they are the most important rules to be aware of.

One Account Per Person

If you thought that you were going to sign up to a bingo site multiple times just to receive the sign up bonus over and over again then think again. The way sites check for this is they check with their database the email address, your name, bank details and your house address with previous sign up details of other people. If any match then they will tell you to change the information accordingly. If you add different bank account details per person then 1 or more persons in the same household are allowed to register on the same bingo site.

Are You Underage?

In the UK you must be at least 18 years of age or older to be able to gamble. Please read Is Bingo Really Gambling? for more information. It is against the law if you are caught gambling both online and offline for real money.

Does Your Country Allow Gambling?

In the UK you are allowed to gamble both online and offline, but in certain countries and regions of the world gambling is illegal. Even though you are allowed to usually sign up to an online bingo site from a country where it is illegal, it is your responsibility to see if you are permitted or not.

Abusing The Chat Feature

Online bingo sites have integrated chat features where you can type using your keyboard, just like you would do on MSN or Facebook chat. If you are caught using foul/racial language or you advertise in the chat rooms you will get warned. After so many warnings your account may get blocked or terminated depending on how offensive the language used was.

Your Account Will Be Banned

If you do anything that breaks the TOS of a bingo site then your account maybe terminated without warning and you may end up losing any winnings in that account also. The best state of mind to be in is, if you owned an online bingo site would you let people do that kind of behaviour? If the answer is no then you can probably guess that UK bingo sites will not allow it either.
